CSL Bellingham Sanctuary

You’re Invited! This sacred and celebratory ceremony marks the formal union between Rev. Abigail and our community — a covenant of mutual love, spiritual vision, and service. It’s often called the “wedding” between minister and congregation, symbolizing the beginning of a shared journey of transformation and divine purpose.

The ceremony will be officiated by distinguished CSL leaders and include a ministerial processional (robes requested for ministers). Musical inspiration will be provided by Melissa Phillippe and Z Egloff of OhMyGod Life!, with Taber Darland as our Dance DJ for the joyful celebration following.

In Lieu of gifts – there will be an offering taken at the event that will support the future of CSL Bellingham, including a new Music and Technology Designated fund.

Ministers: Please arrive between 1:30 and 2:00 pm to robe and line up for the processional. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 pm, followed by a reception and dance.

This will be a relaxed, joy-filled time for sharing food, laughter, and connection—a little like a “rehearsal dinner,” where family comes together before the wedding day.

This luncheon is a way for us to celebrate our union—the sacred partnership between minister and community that will be publicly affirmed the next day. I’d love to see as many of you as possible before the guests, visiting dignitaries, and ministers arrive for Sunday’s big event.

Following lunch, at 2:00 pm, those involved in the Installation Ceremony (including musicians and facilitators) will remain for a brief rehearsal.
