Soup-er Bowl LX

Beat Hunger in Our Communities ~ Jan 18 – Feb 8, 2026
Center for Spiritual Living Seattle invites you to join us in a “Souper Opportunity” to BEAT HUNGER in our communities.
This fun and friendly competition between spiritual centers benefits our neighbors in need. Starting in January and ending on Super Bowl Sunday, the competition is designed to see who can collect the most donations of canned foods. We also collect cash donations.
This friendly competition started in 2014 when Center for Spiritual Living Seattle teamed up with Denver’s Mile High Church, and it’s been a huge success ever since. In 2025, CSL Seattle partnered with four other spiritual centers and raised a total of $10,000.39 in donations benefiting several local food banks.
How to Participate to benefit Bellingham Food Bank
Drop off cans (soup, stew, chili, tuna, chicken, beans) in barrel at back of CSLB sanctuary beginning Sunday Jan 18 or donate to CSLB by the usual methods (write checks to CSLB); be sure to label donations “Soup-er Bowl.” CSL will forward all funds to the food bank after Feb 8. You may also bring cans / money donations to the CSL Office between 10 am – 2 pm Monday – Thursday. Thank you for “playing” to BEAT HUNGER!!
