Rev. Abigail Schairer

Senior Minister, Spiritual Leader

As a vibrant minister, dynamic speaker, and compassionate spiritual counselor, Rev. Abigail Schairer is igniting a global Love-olution by awakening people to their spiritual magnificence and radiant essence.

Inspired by the transformative collective potential of women, she founded SisterSpirit Women’s Retreat in 2008. She continues to facilitate this annual Washington retreat, empowering women to live authentically and allowing their love, creativity, and spirituality to heal themselves and the world. Rev. Abigail graduated from the Holmes Institute of Consciousness Studies in 2011 with her master’s degree and ministerial license. In 2012, she founded Center for Spiritual Living Peninsula, and in 2018, she joined Center for Spiritual Living Seattle as Associate Minister, partnering with Rev. Dr. Kathianne Lewis. Joyfully, in October 2025, Rev. Abigail stepped into the role of Senior Minister at Center for Spiritual Living Bellingham, where she is honored to co-create the next beautiful chapter with this community.

In 2015, Rev. Abigail created the NextGEN Retreat, a transformative experience for spiritual adults ages 18-35 and an investment in future world leaders. This retreat educates participants about social engagement, healthy relationships, and leadership skills while empowering them to generate a sustainable future of prosperity, service, and love for all. In 2017, Centers for Spiritual Living recognized her impactful work with emerging leaders by bestowing upon her the global Youth Champion award. In 2021, she passed the leadership mantle to the next generation.

Featured on the cover of the August 2018 issue of Science of Mind Magazine, Rev. Abigail draws inspiration from the great spiritual masters of all religions and seamlessly weaves it with practical guidance in her speaking and teaching. With a spirit as vibrant as her hair, love is at the core of all she expresses. She believes we are all part of the human family, here to co-create the life God intended for us – one of absolute joy, complete abundance, and freedom.

Rev. Debora Gay

Staff Minister

Debora has been involved with the Centers for Spiritual Living since 1998, supporting the Olympia, Seattle and now the Bellingham communities. She has been a volunteer, a practitioner, an interim minister, and an Ordained minister over this time. She became a practitioner in 2000 and a minister in 2007, with ordination in 2013. Debora has a special place in her heart for practitioners and has served them in all of her spiritual communities. Debora was the Director for Education and Minister to the practitioner body for six years at the Seattle center, and is delighted to now become a staff minister for the Bellingham community. Her current focus is to support the Bellingham practitioner body and the small circle ministry (home circle programs).

Debora’s joy is building spiritual community through teaching core Science of Mind classes, as well as classes that she creates. The “teacher” is her spiritual archetype. Prior to becoming a minister, Debora had a successful career in local government, developing new approaches to support homeless families and affordable housing. She led budget and policy decision processes for county government in over two decades of service. Debora has a BA from Western Washington University (Fairhaven College), a MPA from the University of Washington, and a master’s degree in Consciousness Studies from the Holmes Institute in Colorado.
