SUMMARY:How to Know What You Know
DESCRIPTION:Workshop after Service on Sunday\, July 19\, 12:30 – 2:00 \nQUESTION:What would it be like if you knew how to choose what’s right for you?REV. SARA STEVENS NICHOLS INTRODUCES THE WORKSHOP WITH THE ANSWER: How to Know What You KnowTicket Cost: $30 (without purchasing book)or $20 (when purchasing book for additional $20) \nWe live in a world of choices. Every week\, and most days\, we make routine\, periodic\, and profound choices. That’s going to happen anyway. The question is\, how do we make these choices? Are we just choosing what our friends and family or our social media feed think we should choose? Or are we also choosing consciously through spiritual or intuitive discernment? Using discernment to make choices is the wizard way to travel on Earth. Eventually (in this life or the next)\, we will get wherever we’re headed. When we make conscious choices using discernment tools\, we zip there with more clarity\, focus\, ease\, and grace than we would otherwise. \nRev. Sara Nichols has taught and worked for years with different tools and practices for discernment\, detecting what’s light rather than what’s right\, following coincidence\, “Havingness\,” gates a the Sacred Yes\, as well as the spiritual hit parade of meditation and prayer. She applies these practices to daily\, periodic\, and profound choices. \nSign up online or at the Ask Me Desk.

SUMMARY:Words as Magic
DESCRIPTION:Words as Magic- Building your Divine Spell Book \nFriday\, July 31\, 12 – 3 pm \nFacilitated by Roz Ericksen \nThis workshop is a playful\, hands‑on exploration of how intention and language shape our lives. Together we’ll create personal “spell books” that are living journals of consciousness where we gather the words\, ideas\, and symbols that help us stay aligned with our highest truth. \nWe’ll use the Tarot as a reflective tool\, engaging The Divine through imagery and intuition to clarify the intentions we want to bring into our spell books. In the New Thought tradition\, Tarot becomes a way of listening more deeply in a symbolic conversation with The Divine that helps us name what we’re ready to create\, release\, or embody. \nWe’ll explore the history of spell books through a consciousness‑based lens: humans have always used language to direct thought\, shape meaning\, and choose how they move through the world. In that sense\, our words are always casting “spells\,” influencing our experience from the inside out. \nParticipants will create pages that feel alive and embody a practice of intentional self‑expression that supports spiritual growth\, clarity\, and empowered living. \nPre-registration by Sunday\, July 26\, is required. Register online or at the ASK ME desk. Cost is $25
